Under the supervision of Mr. Charlie dela Cruz, a former teacher and graduate of Slims School of Fashion, the atelier opened in 2002 with the help of his loyal workers and suppliers. Charlie not only acts as the atelier's fashion designer, but also act as event stylist and florist.

Considered as "bold innovator", Charlie is always ready and eager to break conventional fashion into contemporary works of art. He is even willing to traverse unconventional avenues to wherever his artistry and creativity would take him. Last year, Charlie decided to expand his horizon by opening a branch of Couture de Manila in Lucena City. Charlie brought his expertise and special way of pampering client's need to the South. It has been the tradition of Couture de Manila to make their bride look pleasantly stunning at a very reasonable and highly competitive price.
